Santa Monica, CA –The second pack of new multiplayer maps from Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2, will hit first on Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network worldwide on June 3^rd with the release of the Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Resurgence Pack. Featuring five maps, the Resurgence Pack follows on the heels of the record-setting Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Stimulus Package of maps.

Additionally, to celebrate the upcoming release, Infinity Ward will host two Double XP weekends.  The first Double XP will take place beginning Friday, May 28, and the second will follow on Friday, June 4.

TGH: Double XP is always good but heres our thoughts. They made it available on Xbox Live June 3rd, one can only guess that in July a PS3 version of the map pack will rear its head. Stay tuned for info and breaking developments and the maps included in the Resurgence pack.
