This time of the year seems to be the IT time for gaming and RPG’s across all platforms. Final Fantasy XIII, Star Ocean International, White Knight Chronicles International Edition, and now Last Rebellion. There is certainly no shortage of amazing RPG’s on the Playstation 3 right now so the real question is how does this one stack up against the competition. Like many JRPGs, this game has a... more. -
Toy Soldiers: Review and Competition

Tower Defense games tend to be a passive affair, leaving AI units to do their job upon being plonked down in the players only involvement in the game. Whilst providing easy to maintain gameplay, you cannot help but feel like the game is playing itself for you. Not very fun eh? Toy Soldiers rips up the rulebook for this genre of games, instead opting to provide you with an interactive shooter hy... more. -

Can going back to a retro game fill you with the same empathy it did after ploughing in hours into your favourite game, or are you just remembering the nostalgia of years gone by? This is what I would find out by returning to the classic Frogger franchise. The answer for me at least is yes. Yes a retro game can still let you relief the fun you had so many years ago. Don't get me wrong though... more. -

You lurk in the shadows, watching your prey whilst they are blissfully unaware of your presence in the room. You move from wall to wall, scrambling from surface to surface to stalk your victim as they move along the corridor and come to a standstill. Carefully you creep until you are directly above them; then you pounce, grab them from behind and turn them round so they can see what you are, a loo... more. -

This week, we've found out that multi-million dollar company 'Warner Bros.' is to carry on making LEGO games until at least 2016. I'm sure we're all familar with the classic LEGO games, and about the latest title 'Harry Potter: Years 1-4', which obviously features the first four books, putting an obvious LEGO slant on the whole thing. So what has the magical people at Warner got in store for us? M... more. -

Sail Simulation 2010 does exactly as it says on the tin: it’s a sailing simulation game. The game box quotes it as being the ‘ultimate realistic Sailing Simulator’. Read what I have to say, and then make your own decision. I’ll admit that I was intrigued about this game. I am a keen sailor myself, so would it be able to live up to its tagline? Playing the game, I found many points o... more. -

Ok, I don't know about you, but since the indie games have been introduced onto XBOX Live, how many half decent indie games have you played? 1,2 maybe 3? Well I had not even played 1 indie game worth it's cash until Cavemen vs Aliens. If you hate indie games, at least hear me out as this game has changed my impression of them altogether, and shown me that in a lot of dirt you can find a gem... more.
