Critter Crunch Review

Critter Crunch is a cute puzzle game from the Capybara games exclusive to the PSN. The game is one of the unsung heroes recently of the PSN store. Many users have tried it and all of which have loved it. The game screams cute, from the characters to the enemies the character design is superb. Puzzles/levels are easy at first but like all games as you continue through the story (yes there is a s... more. -
Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian Review

Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian (NATM2 for short) is based off the movie of the same name and takes a lot of great things from the movie and turns it over to the game. In the end the question has to be asked, is this a game for the hardcore gamer, or just one for the family/casual gamer looking for a fun time. I would have to say it is aimed at the casual/family type myself. A hardc... more. -
Battlefield:Bad Company 2 Review

Back in 2008 DICE and EA made a Battlefield game unlike any other, because this Battlefield was called Bad Company and uses the first real-time destruction during game play. Now a few years later they come back to improve on the engine and with the release of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Does this game really “defining online warfare” or will it make the same mistakes as Battlefield: Bad Compan... more. -
Blur Beta Preview.

Here at last is my review on the delicious 'Blur' beta. I am sorry it's been so long. I couldn't take my seatbelt off. So, as the beta starts we're met with a rather sublime and minimal navigation system, which I very much approve of. The mix of blues, combined with gravitational icons gives the initial impression that the beta will be rather cool, calm and collected...yeah...right. [caption... more. -
Cooking Mama 3: Shop & Chop Review

Cooking Mama has become a staple of the Nintendo DS and Wii lineup as being fun for the whole family and slightly addicting. How does this title stack up in the Cooking Mama franchise? Can Mama keep on cooking, or should she hang up her apron? Well let me reassure you Cooking Mama fans young and old, it is still addicting as ever. Once you get started you will want to keep playing and trying ou... more. -
Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel

Movie tie in games are never any good, especially on the DS platform. They dumb down the gameplay to contour to a younger audience. With a movie like Alvin And The Chipmunks however there isn’t much to dumb down, the subject material is directed to kids and teenagers. What you come to find out is that this isn’t a regular movie game, it’s a music rhythm game. The game starts you out with ... more. -
Metal Slug XX Review

Metal Slug is a long running series that dates back to the Neo-Geo arcade machines. Few may know that Metal Slug XX is simply a re-mastered version of Metal Slug 7 on the DS. Now considering that game was released way back in ’08. The game really does hold up a lot of its grit, but does it stand up to the rest in the series? Does it add enough value to a gamer to warrant a purchase for a sid... more. -
INDIE REVIEW: Solar
1 CommentsPosted by ShadyDevil on under Reviews, Xbox 360
Indie games are starting to take off soon to the point they will not be known as Indie Games anymore. Maybe a new name, ‘small development games’ either way, they are here to stay. One of those Indie games is Solar for the Xbox 360 via the XBLA Indie Games. Does it live up to the rest of the Indie game standard set by the likes of Dishwasher Samurai and others? Well, yes it does, but it does i... more. -

CHIP BUTTIES. Now that's got your attention, fancy having a read of this review? Go on, I dare you. Leave a comment if you like. I am very sorry, assuming you care, which you don't, that I haven't done a typed entry for ages, as I've been spending most of my time playing with my silly camera. Anyways, when I joined The Gamershub, and told I'd be given games to play on the Playstation 3, I... more. -
