Jim Hargreaves – Content Manager

Hi, I’m Jim, and gaming has been an integral part of my life for several years now. Though I used to be more of a casual gamer, since I bought a PlayStation 3, it has been hardcore all of the way. During my PlayStation 2 days, I indulged in several popular series including Dynasty Warriors, Metal Gear and God of War, my love for each luckily undamaged to this day. Though I value my third person action titles, kart racers, and shooters, I am always up for trying anything.

I propelled myself into the realm of gaming journalism a couple of years back for previous sites, though none of them were based in UK. For this reason, as well as the talent of the TGH staff, I decided to lend my expertise. Expect to see some of my reviews and maybe even editorials in the near future.

Hey, I’m Forest (long story), and because I once owned a Gameboy Color and clearly have too much time on my mitts I decided to start writing for this website. You’ll probably catch my articles which have a poorly drawn tree on them, usually with me explaining or complaining about anything game related in a way that’s supposed to create a mild sense of interest/vulgarity. I’m all about making game information that little bit friendlier, because in my experience when I saw stuff like ‘ZOMG MGS 4 IS TEH KILLA APP, IT ROX MA SOX’ I thought I’d entered into some kind of Dungeons and Dragons fanclub. So I’ve promised to keep it light and not so off putting like other websites. But I still may have to use big words.

I’m a 24 year old from Glasgow, been playing games since Alex the kidd on the Master System II. I do alot of cycling and swimming and play computer games whenever I have the time. I got into writing reviews basically because I like writing and playing games, and I hate not doing anything. I’m a big FPS and RPG fan, but will generally play anything. In my spare time I like messing around on the piano and learning French when I’m not doing any of the above, fun stuff.
